Kľúčom k práci s archívom je jeden fiktívny pretekársky deň, okolo ktorého sa odvíja príbeh Zohorskej plochej dráhy spravovanej Automotoklubom Zohor po dobu takmer dvadsiatich rokov. Jednotlivé etapy dňa prevádzajú budovaním dráhy, zákulisím, nástupom na štart a samotnou jazdou. Pretekári nasadením prilby dotvárajú ruch podujatia a vydávajú sa na rýchlu jazdu bez bŕzd.

The book Speedway Zohor is a story of speed, courage, determination, and friendship, drawing on my grandparents’ preserved photo archive, supplemented by my own photographs, the memories of eyewitnesses, and texts by speedway racing experts.
The key to working with the archive is a single fictional race day, around which the story of the Zohor speedway, managed by the Zohor Automobile Sports Club for nearly twenty years, unfolds. The individual stages of the day take viewers through the construction of the track, behind-the-scenes preparations, the lineup at the start, and the race itself. By putting on their helmets, the racers add to the excitement of the event and set off on a fast ride without brakes.

Projekt je mojou snahou zachovať a pripomenúť atmosféru dôležitej etapy športovej histórie obce Zohor, aby sa spomienky, ktoré žijú len v hlavách pamätníkov, znovu dostali do pozornosti nastupujúcej generácie a širšej verejnosti.

This project is my effort to preserve and commemorate the atmosphere of an important chapter in the sporting history of the village of Zohor, so that memories that currently exist only in the minds of those who lived through that era may once again come to the attention of the younger generation and the wider public.
